4/22 9:45pm

Dylan is resting, his vitals are improved from earlier today. The chances are high that they will put in the feeding tube tonight. They will continue dialysis throughout the night, however he is still very sick. Pray for a restful night for Gary and Debbie as they will be staying at a hotel tonight close by.

Praying for you guys often! So glad Dylan is getting one on one attention now and that you guys are resting. I'll continue to support you guys through prayer and hopefully can visit again soon with Penny, tell Dylan I love him and am praying a lot for him! Amelia

I pray that you guys will wake up refreshed and restored this morning after leaving the hospital last night. I am sure that there are others who get up earlier than I, who have already lifted your family up in prayer...and I know that there are plenty up later than me, most certainly praying for Dylan's health and your strength. Between time zones and different schedules, I am sure that someone is lifting up the Shugart family at least every hour on the hour. I hope you'll find a little comfort in that thought, but most of all I pray that you will find rest in the ever-present and unchanging love of our mighty God.
Isaiah 41:10
...fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I praise God for your sleep last night, for the watchful eyes of the doctors and nurses that allowed you to leave, and most of all I praise him for always doing what He says He will. He WILL be your strength today. Rejoicing and resting in Him,
Trina

Father,

Goodmorning. Thank you for another day. Lord, we thank you for who you are, that your great, and never change. Thank you for your love for all people, but especially your people. As your people we praise your holy name. Thank you for Jesus and your Holy Spirit. You've given us so much. Father, we want you to know we are grateful for all that you do for us and want to tell you that we love you.
Lord, this morning we want to lift up Dylan to you. Thank you for sustaining him during this time. Thank you for hearing all our prayers for Dylan, Debbie, and Gary. Father, thank you for the ministry of the attendants, nurses, and doctors as they care for Dylan. Please help them in caring for Dylan and as they do may those that don't know you see your love expressed by Dylan's family and friends. Lord may this propmpt them to ask about you and to call out to you.
Lord, may your presence for Dylan, Debbie, and Gary strengthen them today. Give them your grace in a great measure today. Lord, we confess all our lives are in your hands and we're dependent upon you. Thank you for your tender care. We pray and ask these things in Jesus name.
Amen

Gary, Debbie, and Dylan,

Mom has been keeping us up to date with your situation and we have been praying! We are excited that we will be able to check back to this blog and receive updates even faster... Know that we love you and are praying for you!

When my babies were in the ICU, God kept bringing two things to my mind. I hope they encourage you like they did me:
1. The children's song, "He's got the whole world in His hands"... May our God's strength and power bring you peace as he holds your family in His hands.
2. The verse, "When I am afraid I will trust in you."
Praying for your strength, your peace, and your comfort. We love you!

Gary, Debbie, and Dylan,

We just want you to know that we are praying for you in this difficult situation. We pray for the Lord's comfort, peace, strength, and encouragment to be with all of you. As we have said before, please let us know if we can be of help in any other way. We know that the Lord is faithful in all He does and in His care of His children He is all wise as He already knows what will happen. He knows what is best and we are called to trust in Him in that way. We love you guys and hope that you know that your OMV family is holding you up before Christ constantly. May the Lord bless you today and give you "the peace that passes all understanding".

Love the Lees.

I wanted you Dylon and your family to know that Penny's family is praying for you at this time. I am Dana Greer, Pen's Mom and we know all our answers are in the Lord. I am blessed to know Penny has good friends like Dylon. We have you on our prayers lists at our churches also. God bless you each day. Trust in the Lord for He is our Strength!
