Update 4/30 4:30pm

Gary just relayed an update. Not much has changed in Dylan's condition since the procedure this morning. He is sedated and resting now, and Gary and Debbie are with him. The doctors expect to keep him sedated for another 1-2 days.

It seems that there have been a series of different problems these past weeks with various organs--kidney, lungs, colon, etc.--which have prevented doctors from making progress on the liver issue, which is the reason Dylan was initially admitted. While this may seem frustrating to us as human beings, we should trust that this whole process is operating on God's infinitely wise timetable, and what appear to be unforeseen setbacks to us do not take Him by surprise. Let's continue to pray that God would sustain Gary and Debbie with the faith needed to handle whatever comes their way.

Also, please pray for safe travel for Gary and Debbie's families, who are traveling in from GA today.

We pray that the Lord will provide you, Gary and Debbie, with continued strength, and Dylan with rest and comfort as he is sedated. I know that tonight will be an especially difficult night to leave Dylan, so we pray that you will rest knowing that the Lord's hand is on Dylan at this time.

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Hey guys, this is Tammy. I've been reading the updates as often as they post them. Thank the Lord we have this way to communicate. Let Kyle know we really appreciate him keeping us informed. I know you've been on a roller coaster ride lately and I wish I could do something to help. All I know to do is pray and we've been doing that as often as I think about you all. And that's pretty often. I love yall and wish I could be with you. Know that you're in our thoughts and prayers daily. Sheila says they'll probably be there through the weekend. I hope you can rest some. Keep the faith and know He's got the whole world in His hands. Again, I love you and wish I could be there with you. Tammy Timms

Debbie, Gary, & Dylan,

We are praying for you. We know this has been so difficult. Remember to trust that there is no haze blocking the Lord's view. He knows what he has planned for all three of you and what provisions you are in need of. He is faithful! If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. You are our family. The Lord has blessed us so much by brining you into our lives. May the Lord encourage you and give you peace and rest.

Love,
Barbara & Justin Stutz

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and suplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God,which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7

It's amazing what our children can teach us in this world of technology. We just learned how to actually post a blog correctly from our grandson.

Dylan, Gary and Debbie, and brothers and sisters of our OMV family, please go to the update dated 4/21 and find three postings from us there. We posted them yesterday but in the wrong place.

Know that you all are in our prayers and thoughts each day. We love each and every one of you.

May God richly bless each of you.
