Update 4/28 3:00pm

A short update on Dylan: Gary said that Dylan was able to sleep soundly through the night last night and that in fact, he slept until 10:30 this morning. This is certainly a praise, as Dylan had been getting very little sleep over the past week. Gary and Debbie also got a good night's rest and are beginning to feel somewhat recovered from their sleep-deprived past week.

The doctors will run more tests and X-rays on Dylan today as they consider how to treat him and his infection. Let's be in prayer for them to have wisdom.

Glad you guys are sleeping. Might as well get some rest and rest on the Lord .... 'cause He's doin' all the work anyway ...... we usually just tire ourselves out running in circles and thinking we're actually accomplishing something. I bet He chuckles at us just like we do a two year old...... the cool thing is then He also holds us like a child too! Well, I praise Him for what He's done so far and look forward to seeing what else He is going to do. I don't really know what exactly to pray for ........ but I know I trust Him with you. : ) Keep resting - He doesn't.
Love you guys!

Gary & Debbie:

We continue to pray for God's healing of Dylan and for you both to have the strength to endure this trial of your faith. There are so many people across this country praying for you. God is still on the throne and in control of every situation Dylan and you face each day. We look forward to the day Dylan is healed and gets to live a normal life again. We love so your very much.

Glad to hear that you all are able to get some rest finally and wish nothing but peaceful and restful sleep for you all. We continue to pray that the lord will work through the doctors to continue their work towards a speedy recovery.

Psalm 139:9,10 : God is our refuge and strenght a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1
The LORD will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:9-11
Let us therefore come boldy unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:16 Fear thou not; for I am with thee;be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Isaiah 41:10
It is hard to know what to say to comfort you now. Scripture is the only words I can find.

Dylan, Gary, And Debbie,

I'm glad to hear everyone is getting some sleep. After all that is one of the hard parts about hospitals. I am praying for all of you and will be checking back daily. I am also trying to get off work one day in the next few weeks to come up and visit.

"The will of God will never take you; where the grace of God will not protect you."

I love you all. Hope to see you soon! And get well Dylan!!!

Love, Taylor Hammond
